Passive Fire Protection Systems

We install various brands of intumescent coatings and also board systems to provide 30 to 120 minutes fire protection to structural steel.

We carry out installations of all types of fire stopping to maintain the fire compartmentation of both fire walls and floors. This ensures that the fire and smoke cannot spread through the building and provides adequate time for evacuation and the fire brigade to enter the building in the event of a fire.

Slab edge fire protection is required between the external building facade and the concrete slab. This provides a fire and smoke stop between floors

We install systems such as Rockwool to fire protect kitchen and smoke extract ductwork where fire dampers cannot be used. We also install calcium silicate board systems that do not require ductwork,  the duct is made from the board system such as L500.

We install movement joint fire protection to form part of the building fire compartmentation. The movement joints can run through the building both horizontally and vertically.

We install all kinds of gypsum walls and ceilings, both fire rated and non-fire rated. We utilize different brands to achieve the best value for money for our clients.

We can provide Coopers motorized fire curtains which will act on the fire signal in car parks, internal areas and lift doors. We also install fixed fire curtains in ceilings and loft spaces where required within the building design.

We are installers of pre-manufactured IFCC accredited 30 and 60 minute fire doors. We can also provide metal fire doors up to 60 minutes.
